Public access to Normal Township information

Normal Township, a government body established in 1857, provides the statutory responsibilities of road maintenance, property assessment and general assistance.  We further serve the community through an emergency assistance program for families, the Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP), and the Activity Recreation Center (ARC) for people age 55 and over. We also currently provide annual grants to the Community Health Care Clinic for medical treatment for the uninsured in Normal Township, to the YWCA Special Needs After School Care Program, to the OSF Peace Meal Program to provide nutrition services/meals to older adults, and to School Street Pantry to provide culturally responsive foods for those in need.

In accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Normal Township provides residents access to public records and documents.
